You may remember Janna from Whitman's equestrian club (or maybe not... our senior year, she was one of only two members of the underfunded group), but these days, Janna's hung up her spurs to take on an even more daunting task: offering mental health support to workers in high-pressure careers as a clinical psychologist and the owner of Azimuth, a therapy practice in Boston that helps clients from a variety of industries, including law, consulting, finance, tech, private equity, and academia.
Janna and her family (which includes a husband, kids, and a fur baby who does double-duty as a therapy dog at Azimuth) are also very active active in charitable giving for cardiology research at Boston Children's Hospital, where the future looks bright. About her charitable work, Janna says she chose Children's Hospital because, "The medical advances coming our way are absolutely incredible!"

When asked if she's been hanging onto any twenty-year-old regrets or secrets from her time at Whitman, Janna's answer was (perhaps unsurprisingly) thoughtful: "Zach Ludwig complimented me on getting into Cornell a few days after early admission came out, and at the time I was going through some personal struggles. It was just a small act of kindness I needed at that moment, and obviously I still remember it. I have always tried to remember this and do small acts of kindness for others all the time, because I think more often than not, it is really helpful to someone else."
